My Story
Jonathan Lam (He/Him) is currently a sophomore studying Industrial and Labor Relations and double minoring in International Relations and Migration Studies at Cornell University. As a son of Vietnamese Refugees, he is passionate about advocating for immigrant rights and hopes to learn more about cluster munitions and pushing for global disarmament. He is interning with Legacies of War as an RFK Human Rights John Lewis Young Leader where his completing a capstone project addressing U.S transfers of arms fueling global conflict and disarmament. Besides LOW, he is also collaborating with Amnesty International USA and he is a National Youth leader with the organization. In the future, Jonathan hope to become an immigration lawyer and work on international human rights issues.
