"Legacies of War reminds me every day that choosing a life and career centered around people is the ultimate form of success."
My Story
Allie Hansen is an engineer and policy analyst who focuses on arms control policy in Washington D.C. In college, Allie spent a summer as an engineer intern in Cambodia where she worked on an explosive ordnance disposal robot, and it inspired her career shift to policy and advocacy. She currently works at the Center for International Policy's Security Assistance Monitor, where she tracks U.S. arms exports and security assistance to promote transparency and accountability. She is also an emerging expert with the Forum on the Arms Trade. Allie is an enormous foodie and looks forward to tasting the cuisine in every new place she visits.
