Legacies of War is publishing live from the Lao Studies Conference in Tempe Arizona.  Right the now the weather is great, around 85 degrees, but the best part is seeing and connecting with Lao people from around the world.  The sessions began bright and early, with topics ranging from textiles, to Hmong Lao relations, to globalization.  Legacies is the display hall, along with other vendors such as LANA and the Center for Lao Studies.  More pictures and info coming soon...

The Gallery 100 space is coming along.  I myself really like the piece with the map and the photographs showing where the Laotian diaspora landed.

Islanda Khau and Boon Vong have been in Tempe, AZ since Saturday, installing the show for the 2nd International Conference on Laos Studies. The show has to be up for the Thursday opening reception.
